In 1997 Jeff Staple entered a New York boutique wearing a t-shirt he printed in the screen printing class at the Parsons School of Design. He had absolutely no intention of starting a brand, a brand or some sort of business. He came out of that shop with an order of 12 pieces: Staple was officially on the market and in the streets of New York. What began as a small line of T-shirts made personally by Jeff's piece by piece in just a few years has grown organically, starting to gain visibility and becoming a true recognized and appreciated brand: a true reference for the Grande culture Apple. In 2005 Nike asked Jeff Staple to create a special commemorative sneaker representing New York. Thus the Staple Pigeon Dunk SB was born, from the meeting of a designer and a multinational - and no one expected what would happen. Its launch created a hype never seen before by changing the sneaker crops forever giving life for the first time to the resellers and to the product drop we are used to today. He started a system, he created a world. Today, Staple Pigeon is a world-renowned brand that reflects the grit and inexhaustible energy of New Yorkers and all the world's metropolises.
